INTRODUCTION

ACCESSIBILITY UNLIMITED was formed in 1991 to meet the accessibility needs of businesses, property owners and managers, and the design and construction community by providing services and expertise related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Article 9102, Texas Civil Statutes, administered by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

ACCESSIBILITY UNLIMITED is a recognized leader in the field of accessibility.  Over the past 16 years, ACCESSIBILITY UNLIMITED has surveyed over 800 commercial buildings for compliance with the ADA Accessibility Guidelines, has reviewed over 1,000 project plans for compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), and has provided consulting services to a wide range of public and private business and property owners.

Peter Grojean, P.E., is a frequent speaker/presenter on both the ADA and TAS. Mr. Grojean, P.E., is also Chairman of the newly created Alamo Area AccessAbility Partnership. This is an organization whose mission is to "bring people with disabilities, businesses, agencies, governments and the public together." This organization is the first of its kind in the San Antonio area.

Peter Grojean, P.E., is a Registered Accessibility Specialists (RAS) with the State of Texas.  Mr. Grojean  reviews plans and inspects private and public projects for compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS).  Additionally, Mr. Grojean is certified by the ICBO as an Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner.
